I am a botanist and evolutionary biologist. I use the Neotropical bellflowers (Campanulaceae: Lobelioideae) as a model system in a diverse range of projects, from alpha taxonomy to the study of rapid diversification in the Andes, the world's most species-rich biodiversity hotspot.
I am also an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Biology with Nathan Muchhala (University of Missouri- St. Louis) and Alexandre Antonelli (University of Gothenburg, Sweden) and Associate Researcher at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
**Big News!** I will be starting a position as herbarium director and tenure-track assistant professor at Louisiana State University in August 2017! Geaux Tigers!
